Beschreibung

In this contribution, a novel method for the alignment of drilling components for geothermal and oil & gas applications is briefly described. This method comprises the determination of the tubular positions, the computation of an adjustment vector and the realization of the adjusting movement with the use of a parallel kinematic mechanism in up to six degrees of freedom. Furthermore, the design of the mechanism using multi-criteria optimization and a measurement system is presented. Ultimately, a real size test rig is presented. It is shown, that the mechanism is able to align components with high accuracy.
