Webinars
Our webinars offer you valuable insights into production technology research in 45 to 60 minutes – conveniently from anywhere and free of charge. You can expect exciting technical presentations from our employees on each topic. And: You have the opportunity to ask individual questions about your application.
All webinar dates can be found on this page, in our event calendar and on our LinkedIn page. You can easily register on our website with your email address, with no obligation. We will then send you the access data by email.
Who are our webinars suitable for?
The content is aimed, for example, at managers, technical staff and project managers from the fields of research and development, design, quality management, production development, and product innovation and management.
We focus primarily on applications from the automotive, bearing and joint technology, medical technology, engine construction, turbine and pump construction, rail and rail transport, coating technology, measurement technology, marking technology and tool manufacturing industries.
Our topics
-
Measuring and optimising component properties
In our webinar we will show you real applications and answer the following questions together with you:
- How can surface and subsurface properties be precisely recorded using measurement technology?
- How do the properties of a component affect its function?
- How can performance be increased through the targeted adjustment of surface and subsurface properties?
- How can industrially applicable measurement methods be developed and evaluated?
-
Autonomous production
In this webinar, we will give you insights into NC simulation and optimisation. For example, we will show you how you can reduce energy consumption for a manufacturing process with a material removal simulation. We will also explain how 3D component scans and the comparison of actual and target geometry enable automated NC code creation and adaptation.
Registration for this webinar is currently not possible. Please send us an email if you are interested in participating. We will then inform you of the next available date.
Consultation
Our consultation process typically consists of six steps. The first four steps are free of charge. We first clarify together whether you would like to implement an individual project at your own expense or have your project financially supported. Only then do we finalise the details of our collaboration and begin implementation.
How does the consultation work?
-
1. Formulate your request
Use our contact form to briefly describe your problem or question. Information about your production environment will help us identify possible solutions.
-
2. Analysis by our experts
You will receive a short confirmation by e-mail as soon as we have received your message. Our scientific staff will then examine which research results could offer a suitable solution.
-
3. Initial Meeting
After the analysis, we will contact you with suggested dates for an initial meeting – for example, online. At this meeting, we will introduce you to our team and present you with possible solutions.
-
4. Getting ready to work together
If you are interested in the proposed solutions and would like to work with us, we will meet with you in person. We will discuss all the details together at a meeting at your company or at our institute.
-
5. Offer preparation
Based on your individual requirements, we will prepare a tailor-made offer to solve your problem. Only when you decide to work with us and agree to the offer in writing will you incur the (pre-agreed) costs.
-
6. Project implementation
We will then begin processing your order. We will keep you informed of progress and present you with the results once the order has been completed.
