The workholding round table brings together machine manufacturers, users and companies from the fields of sensor technology and data processing to discuss current workholding issues. The intensive technical exchange is intended to produce concrete and application-oriented solutions. Participation in the round table is free of charge.

IFW has been working on the topic of workholding technology for many years. IFW is also currently working on innovations in this field in several projects together with industrial partners. In addition, IFW has set up the Round Table on Workholding Technology, which takes place regularly in June and December. At the round table, current challenges are addressed, such as the transformation to digitalized and networked clamping devices, Industry 4.0 applications or the change to new manufacturing technologies. Impulse presentations from industry represent a focus. The topics presented will be supplemented with current research results from the IFW. In this way, synergies are bundled through the intensive exchange between research and industry, and application-oriented and low-threshold solutions are created for the participants.
