MIC 2023 - Shaping the future together. Industry and research in dialog.

How does the evolution of aerospace influence future manufacturing technologies? Discover the latest trends at the 23rd Machining Innovations Conference for Aerospace Industry (MIC) on November 29 and 30, 2023 in Garbsen.

Following the revival of global air traffic, the aerospace industry faces significant technological and strategic tasks. With the increasing demand and the industry's goal to operate in a more environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral way, the exchange between experts and researchers is essential. This year's MIC conference offers the ideal opportunity for this. Participants will learn how new trends and innovative technologies in aerospace engineering enable the industry to respond appropriately and sustainably to turbulent influences. Tickets for the conference are available at a reduced early bird price until October 3.

Main topics of the conference

The 23rd MIC conference starts on November 29. The Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW) and the Manufacturing Innovations Network e.V. (MIN) invite all interested parties to the Hannover Center for Production Technology (PZH). The focus will be on the latest developments in the aerospace industry, especially with regard to manufacturing technologies. These include changes in the manufacturing process through the use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic or additively manufactured components, as well as the application possibilities and benefits of digitization solutions and artificial intelligence in the production environment.

Participants can look forward to exciting presentations by Jacek Kruszynski (MAPAL), Christian Kurtenbach (Starrag AG), Alain Bouthillier (Pratt & Whitney Canada), Professor Dr. Sami Kara (University of New South Wales, Australia) and Dr.-Ing. Joachim Schmidt (Premium AEROTEC GmbH), among others. The program will be supplemented by a trade exhibition with well-known companies, a guided tour of the IFW test field and an evening event. All in all, the event offers a comprehensive platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing strategies for the future of the aerospace industry.

Take advantage of the early bird discount until October 3 and register online. Regular registrations are possible until November 20.
